eWatch Heat Verify - Mobile application to assist in evaluating Heat Interface Unit

The Problem
The District Heat Network is installed and distributed using insulated pipes that transport hot water to individual homes via Heat Interface Unit (HIU). They can be utilised for space heating or water heating in both home and commercial applications. If the district heating network is not correctly established and commissioned, it may fail and cost a significant amount of money, thus a visit is manually scheduled to check the operation of hot water and space heating. The primary goal was to design a mobile application to assist the user in evaluating the performance of Heat Interface Unit (HIU) of the assigned flats.

Understanding the problem
1. Greater chances of human error as verification was done manually.
2. Managing records on paper was a stressful and tedious task
3. Higher risk of HIU failure

Evaluate specific Heat Interface Unit(HIU) against design requirements.
Identify anomalous operating performance.
Manage reports of commissioned sites.
Commissioning Engineer - The role involves verifying the proper installation of Heat Interface Units (HIUs) by following designated steps, identifying any anomalies in performance, and managing reports for commissioned sites.
Userflow
After analysing these insights, I began to conceptualise the solution focusing on userflow . The total verification steps takes place in three stages:
Flats ready for commissioning verification.
Flats undergoing commissioning verification.
Flats with completed verification.
Each stage requires careful management as they progress sequentially, with intervals between steps. A systematic tracking system is essential for efficient oversight and coordination during these phases.

Wireframes
Homepage
Upon logging in or completing the sign-up process, users will be directed to the homepage, where they get the overview of the entire site. Get transparency on the verification status—showcasing the number of flats already verified and those currently undergoing the verification process.
After clicking on a particular site, user can see detailed view of flats that are ready, in progress and completed their verification process.
Commissioning Verification Steps - Users can initiate the verification process by progressing through all stages and inputting the values and data acquired during the inspection of each flat's heat interface units. Without the burden of manual analysis and data maintenance.
